Sledding

Last Saturday we were lucky enough to get to go sledding
with Steve, Brooke and Emily. Emily liked
it when Grandpa would pull her along. She thought
that was more fun than down hill!

Emily left her glasses on for the entire time we were out.

We ended the trip with a hamburger at Big Judd's. We had a great day,
the weather was simply perfect. What a fun thing to do on a January day
in Idaho.

It's official, Sam is engaged!!!

She loved it when we spent the day pushing her around in it.
I hope she learns quick how to make it go with her feet.
(She also loved the hat and mittens that Natalie gave her,
she wore them most of the day,
she even napped in them.

you rate right up there with Santa!)

Christmas was so much fun this year, we had all our kids home.
Probably not too many of those are left but we sure enjoyed the family
togetherness. We truly are blessed with such a great family.
I love you guys, you make my life complete.
Thanks for all you do and for being who you are.

Christmas Eve at Grandma Hayes'

Christmas Eve tradition is to go the Grandma Hayes' for dinner and then a fun re-gift exchange. It is always fun to see everyone and enjoy the excitement of the Evening. Here Sam is with his girlfriend Hailey Howard. Emily loved the snow globe that Hailey got.

The grand-kids are always the highlight of the evening.
So fun to watch them open presents.

Monk Christmas Party at The Lodge

We had the annual Monk Christmas Party at Lava at Leslie & Blaine's lodge. They threw a great party and it was decorated so cute. It's always fun to get everyone all together. This year it was a "Reindeer" party complete with antlers, Reindeer meat sandwiches, and Reindeer Beer to drink. We had a great time! We don't get together very often and so I always look forward to the Christmas Party. It was a blast!!!

Emily had fun playing with all her cousins. Once again, I didn't do a very good job taking pictures.

Winter at the Temple

Just had to share this beautiful picture of the temple that Matt took. He is getting really good with his photography skills. He has a natural talent for it. I love it when he goes and takes tons of pictures. He always ends up with a lot of really good photo's. Keep up the good work Matt!

Steven's Graduation get-together!!!

On December 18th, we celebrated Steven's graduation from BYU-I. He now has a Bachelors Degree in Geology and and minor in Biology. I feel bad I didn't even get a picture of him at our family party for him. We went out to Dinner and I only got photo's of Emily and they really aren't very good. Anyway, we are so proud of Steven. He has worked so hard and now all that work will start paying off. We hope he finds a job soon. He has lots of irons in the fire so something should come up soon. We love you Steven and know good things are in store for you!
